This was my first book by this author. I was impressed with the power of her language and writing: the characters are honest and human.
I first picked up this book from the book table at Hotel Tibet here in Kathmandu. Not sure yet if I will return in there or release it somewhere else. Keep you posted!

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
I recently went on a five day trip on my Honda motor scooter, travelling 750 km through Nepal to attend a friend's wedding in his village. On the way home I also spent a day in the beautiful city of Pokhara, and a night in Bandipur.
I'm also playing a game on this great Bookcrossing site, called Bookcrossing Monopoly, that involves leaving books in different places to fit different themes. It's a bit morbid but I'd thought this book would make a great release near one of Nepal's many rivers or the lake that I'd pass on my travels.
In the end, though, the locations seemed a bit too "out in the wild" --literally--to ensure the book's safety, so after not finding a place I was happy with, on the last day before heading home I left it on the bookshelf in The Old Inn in Bandipur--one of Nepal's great hidden gems, in my opinion. It's for our free release this turn.
If you are the lucky finder, you are free to do with this book as you please--read it, pass it on, keep it--as you like. I'd love it if you'd let me know it's safe with you, though. You can stay anonymous or join the fun! Enjoy!
