… und keiner hört dein Schreien Die Polizistin Darby McCormick soll ein grauenhaftes Verbrechen aufklären. Man hat die 16jährige Carol entführt, dabei ihren Freund erschossen. Die Wände sind mit Blut beschmiert. Die Spur führt nach Boston. Bald zeigt sich, dass Carol bei weitem nicht das erste Opfer des Täters war. Keines ist je wieder aufgetaucht. Bis auf Rachel - die Frau, die man am Tatort fand. Was hat die halbverhungerte, vollkommen verstörte Frau erlebt? Was ist Realität, was Wahnvorstellung? Darby versucht, ihr das Geheimnis zu entlocken. Doch Rachel schweigt.
Edit nach dem Lesen: hab es in ca. 5 Stunden ausgelesen :-) In einem durch ... ist recht spannend! Das Ende finde ich ETWAS chaotisch aber das Buch ist zu empfehlen!
