Have only read about 50 pages. Not too fussed with Jack Higgins as an author. I've read one or two others of his, and the characters seem a little two-dimensional and all the same. Am intrigued that this book was found where Boreal said it would be but 6 months later! I'll write more when I've read it completely.

I've read the book, but I'm not changing my rating. Okay, it held my attention enough to complete it, but that was only becasue I'm keen to (re)release my first book into the wild. I'm hanging onto it for just a day longer so that I can set myself up for labelling other books the same way.

Picked up book at Mosgiel Showgrounds and will read it on our tour the Sth Is. Heading up to Central Otago and will drop it somewhere when finished.
I've read Jack Higgins before and find his writing fairly 'thin', but an ok easy read.
