Far beneath the blue Caribbean sea lies Deepcore, thw world's most advanced high-technology drilling station. When a mysterious force sends the submarine 'USS Montana' spinning out of control, Deepcore is commandeered as the base for a naval rescue operation.

Lindsay Brigman, designer of Deepcore, insists on joining the team. When the operation gets under way, she witnesses something astonishing, activity she can only define as non-terrestrial intelligence. Excellent reading. The best novelisation I've ever read - it actually reads like a novel not a screenplay. I haven't seen the movie for about 10 years so now I'll have to find it & watch it again.
