I've been hoping this book would come and find me, so I was delighted to find it on the book buffet at the Dublin Convention. I'm looking forward to reading it.

Fascinating insight into family life, history and society in Afghanistan. In this case, the head of the family was a tyrant and bully and the way he and society deals with his family seals their individual fates.

I had heard of this book (and it might even be on my wishlist, I have to check to make sure), so I was very happy to find this book at the BookCrossing Meeting in Castricum today. I had planned to not take home (too many) books for myself, but only for our "Minibieb" (Little Free Library), but I just couldn't leave this one on the table. ;)
