This was Ellory’s second book written in 2004, probably for any author the most difficult. I think he did a good job even though the story line was semi predictable, but I did enjoy the irony of the final twist. I loved the characterization of both the main characters, Annie and Sullivan, and yet again the author’s instinctive feeling for his setting. This was a book I looked forward to picking up every night.
