1960s Popular Library paperback of the 1937 thriller. I found this copy yesterday in the free books pile on the porch of Dimond Library.
I can let this go after I read:
1930 While the Patient Slept [read 2011]
Edit January 13, 2018: I did not have much time to get into this one, with its small print, so I just kind of skimmed it. My impression was that it was a bit too descriptive, and not much action, except near the end. I currently have this ranked at #1163 on my ranked list of best-read books lately.
