I am the proud mother of the author and this is her first published full length novel. I ordered a few copies from amazon.co.uk to give to friends and family.

I love it when the postman rings the bell with a parcel - and this morning he was carrying two very welcome parcels from bluenoser, together containing four books, thank you very much. This, a signed copy of her daughter's novel, was by the far the most exciting. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to experience it. I've already glanced through at the illustrations and am suitably impressed :-) I've marked it 'permanent collection' as I doubt that I'll want to part with it, only lending it out from my keeper shelves rather than releasing it. Thank you!

Amazon Editorial Review: "Abandoned and scared, but less alone than he could have ever imagined, Sam awakens to the screams of the other children on the island of Fervor, and the absence of all adults. To make matters worse, despite hearing this chaos in his head, he finds himself deaf to the normal sounds around him. His only answers are now being provided by a strangely charismatic boy named Francis who is about to lead Sam to a gathering that will alter his life. Why have things changed so drastically on the island, who is responsible for these changes, and what does this mean to the remaining inhabitants of Fervor?"

Thanks again to bluenoser and daughter for this rather strange novel from a genre I don't normally read, although one that's not entirely unknown to me!
The story captured and held my interest such that I wanted to know what was happening to the children and how they'd survive and whether they'd ever get off the island and ....
While I didn't quite read it in one sitting, I did finish it before going to sleep on the day I started it :-)

Change of plan!
I wanted to keep it, I wanted to share it with others, I thought I'd take it to the UK Unconvention in Nottingham to share with other BookCrossers, I was tempted to be selfish ...
Now I've definitely decided I'm definitely keeping it on my Keeper Shelves!
Thank you very much, bluenoser :-)
Thank you, Chantal :-)
It's mine (LOL!)

I think I've kept this long enough. It's time for other readers to have a chance to appreciate Ms Boudreau's talents!
Thank you again!

Released 8 yrs ago (7/28/2015 UTC) at Brigantes Bar & Brasserie OBCZ / Meetup Venue in York, North Yorkshire United Kingdom

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

I left a couple of books on the BookCrossing book shelves in the lovely Brigantes pub today while enjoying a delicious posh fish sandwich for my lunch (highly recommended - both the pub and the sandwich!) I wish I'd taken a few more books to release as the shelves looked rather under-stocked to me …. Anyway, I think the York BookCrossers are holding their monthly Meet Up there this evening, so I'm hoping it'll find a new home! Enjoy!

Over a million people around the world give their books a unique BookCrossing IDentity number (BCID) before sending them out to find new readers. Since the start of the scheme in April 2001 more than ten million such books have been put into circulation. This is one of them!

Our hope is that we can track the progress of our books once they've left our hands - and that's possible if finders like you visit the website, key in the BCID and leave a comment, however long or short. It's fun, it doesn't have to cost anything, although the site always appreciates donations towards running costs, and you can remain anonymous if you wish. You don't have to join but if you do you'll be able to number and track your own books!
