^ The Nanny Diaries: A Novel
2 journalers for this copy...
At first I had a difficult time getting used to the Nanny actually being named "Nan" or "Nanny"! Kind of weird but it eventually grew on me. It makes the parents really come across as not caring about their child at all which was a bit disturbing....but it IS fiction. You really start to feel sorry for Nanny with all she's put through. I enjoyed reading the little notes the mom left, sending her on errands and the things she would expect Nan to do. The authors have a good imagination (or did they experience the same when they were nannies???).
Anyway, it's an easy read and hope others find it the same!

I plan on giving this to my co-worker at OSU Medical Center!
This book was discovered in my in-box this morning at work! I can't wait to read it,,, has been on my "read list" FOREVER.
Will update with comments when finished reading.
Plans are to pass on to co-worker when done :) .

I found the stereotypes contained in this book to be somewhat unappealing...
And, the ending left too many unanswered questions (IMHO).
Poor Grayer (sniff, sniff!)...
