4 journalers for this copy...
I picked this book up at The Bookthing on Sunday. We went there as a group from the BCinDC Bookcrossing Convention.
I used to have another copy of this book and this is what I had to say about it:
The story of a widow and the young family who moves in with her. Together they discover the first gift of Christmas and learn what Christmas is really all about.
It's a very beautiful story, even though it's sad at times.
I read it in November 2008.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
I'm sending this to stringofpearls as part of the U.S. Secret Santa.
I just thought sending a Christmas themed book for Secret Santa would be appropriate. I enjoyed the story, so I hope you do as well.
Happy reading!

Thanks, LittleWhiteBird! I will put this on the table by my bed and read it a few days before Christmas.
I was going to read this right before Christmas, then decided if I read it now I could pass it along to a friend and they could still read it or share it before Christmas. It has a nice message. Merry Christmas!
This was a delightful, easy read. It will sit on my shelf until I send it out for the holidays next year.
Thanks again for thinking of me.

Came in MyssCyn's box for the Danville Little Free Libraries. Richard Paul Evans is extremely popular around here (even with my 8th grade students) so whichever LFL this ends up in, it will find a happy reader.
I may save it to put out at the beginning of the Christmas Season (say, late September ;-))

Put this in the LFL at my elementary school. A co-worker got it for his mother to read.
The book reappeared in a batch of books returned to my school library last week. Since Christmas is fast approaching, I'll read it and rerelease it in the same place.
