 Cor lummey. Jane Austin would have a coronary at the fate of the heroine(s) in this novel. A bit long winded at times (the author's account, that is), Vanity Fair is quite an enjoyable book if you enjoy soap opera-style dramas.
I'm heading to Sydney this week, so I think I shall do a wild release and get some classical literature out there for others to enjoy (we hope).
