Journal Entry 1 by Ina from München, Bayern Germany on Monday, April 18, 2011
From the Cover: In a masterful feat of storytelling, Anne Rice unleashes Akasha, the queen of the damned, who has risen from a six-thousend-year sleep to let loose the powers of the night. Akasha has a marvelously devious plan to "save" mankind with the vampire Lestat as her lover - in this extraordinary sensual novel of the complex, erotic, electrifying world of the undead.

Journal Entry 2 by Ina at München, Bayern Germany on Friday, April 29, 2011
The first half of this book I really liked. I was very curious about how all the different stories fit together and over all what the story of the twins had to do with the vampires. But the second half dragged on: The Akasha chapters I found kind of boring, always the same and the same discussions. The story of the twins on the other hand indeed was interesting but I found it kind of disappointing how the story drifted more and more into esotherics with all the spirits (that are NOT demons). Surprisingly the end did catch me again, especially the long discussion between Akasha and the other vampires about what is good and what is evil was very interesting.
