Synopsis
When the Tardis makes a disastrous landing in the swamps of the planet Sunday, the Doctor has no choice but to abandon Martha and try to find help. But the tranquility of Sunday's swamps is deceptive, and even the Tardis can't protect Martha forever. The human pioneers of Sunday have their own dangers to face: homeless and alone, they're only just starting to realise that Sunday's wildlife isn't as harmless as it first seems. Why are the native otters behaving so strangely, and what is the creature in the swamps that is so interested in the humans, and the new arrivals? The Doctor and Martha must fight to ensure that human intelligence doesn't become the greatest danger of all.

hahaha, I loved it! Again, the doctor saves a whole world, some human settlers and some natives from both a montrous alien creature and human stupidity.
I loved this one, it's so very 10th-doctorish! Although I admit that sometimes Freema Agyeman gave me a bit of trouble this time, I absolutely adore her otters

Da war meine Doctor Who Infizierung fast abgeflaut (ok ja, Bildschirmhintergrund, Handyhintergrund, Klingelton, Musik der 4. Staffel in der Stereoanlage... aber immerhin hab ich schon wieder Interesse für Anderes, z.B. Bücher und Sport wiedergefunden), und dann schneien mir drei Hörbücher ins Haus, pünktlich fürs Wochenende... mal kucken ob ich wieder völlig in die Sucht abstürze ;-) Und die Hörbücher sind auch noch mit meinem Lieblingsdoctor... (mit dem 11. hab ich mich noch nicht so ganz angefreundet).
Vielen lieben Dank fürs Schicken und Verringen, wird sicher sehr bald weiterreisen können.

This is one of the best Doctor Who Audiobook yet. Either Freema Agyeman got better at reading it or I got better understanding her. Though at one or two bits I thought there was a bit read by a man? Anyway the story is great. The Doctor and Martha visit a human Space Colony- that is to say a planet that is just beeing colonised by humans. It is named Sunday - sounds like a perfect place to live, but it turns out that it is not , at least not yet.
This time I really had a film in front of my eyes and the reading managed to get even the expression on the Doctors and Marthas faces right inside my head ;-)
The end is just perfect! You can realy imagine THAT when you see an otter, can´t you. Mind, I very often have the same feeling with cats, and there are two guinea pigs of a friend that manage that too.
And nice new use of the psycic paper! Could turn out handy far more often.
Lets see if I will listen to Sick Building today as well, then these audiobooks can travell on...

Sehr unterhaltsam, auch wenn ich ein bisschen gebraucht habe, mich mit der leicht schrägen Story anzufreunden. Space-Otter? Naja, warum nicht!
Von den drei Hörbüchern, die grad hier sind (Sick Building + Wooden Heart) hat mir das hier am besten gefallen, sowohl von der Sprecherin her als auch von der Story. :)
Darf bald weiterreisen.
