The second of a six book series set after the end of Stargate Atlantis's final season ("Legacy").
"The team is doing whatever it takes to find its lost crew--even if it means turning to its enemies for help. While Teyla and Ronon seek information from the Genii, Colonel Sheppard reopens tense negotiations with the Wraith, Todd."

Kind of a dissapointment. I don't feel I get the same connection with the characters as I did with the tv-series, and also with the first book. There's plenty of action (understandable given the ending of the first book) but not much more.
Not as good a book as the first one, but good enough. I hope third one is better though, but I can't find any information about when it's going to be released... Soon I hope!

This book is off on new adventures :)
Arrived two days ago, thanks! =]
I quite agree with the comment you wrote on your postcard ;) though I still like Todd lol. Will read and pass on as soon as I humanly can!

Ok, I finished this a few days ago, but I haven't been able to journal it 'til now.
I agree that it isn't as good as the first book. The writing is a bit clunky, there is at least one typo, and the dialogue is sometimes awkward because of the writers' attempts to make certain characters sound 'oldy-worldy' (I'll find a non-spoiler example and edit it in later).
Apart from that, I still enjoyed the book - I'm eagerly awaiting the next one to be published. It could have been so much better with a little polish though.
Thanks for sharing and I'll post on soon! =]
