I picked this up in a charity shop in Boroughbridge this afternoon to give to tree-hugger for those under-the-weather/lazy days when something like The Princess Diaries is the ideal companion.

7 out of 10

I read this a few weeks ago when I had a cold & it was just the ticket. Funny, uplifting & easy to read, with some lovely characters. Hooray for Meg Cabot and for Nu-Knees.
