Code To Zero
48 hours that could change the world's political landscape...A man wakes up to find himself lying on the ground in a railway station, his mind stripped bare of all recollection. He has no idea how he got there. He does not even know his own name. Convinced he is a drunken down and out. it isn't until a newspaper report about a satellite launch catches his eye that he begins to suspect all is not what it seems...The year is 1958, and America is about to launch its first satellite, in a desperate attempt to match the Soviet Sputnik and regain the lead in the space race. As Luke Lucas gradually unravels the mystery of his amnesia, he realizes that his fate is bound up with that of the rocket that stands ready on launch pad 26B at Cape Canaveral.

Winter Solstice
When she leaves London for the pretty Hampshire village that she describes as 'my geriatric bolt-hole', Elfrida Phipps quickly feels at home. She has a tiny cottage, her faithful dog Horace and the friendship of the neighbouring Blundells - particularly Oscar - to ensure that her days include companionship as well as independence. But an unforeseen tragedy upsets Elfrida's tranquillity. She takes refuge in a rambling house in Scotland, which becomes a magnet for various waifs and strays. It sounds a recipe for disaster. But somehow the group becomes greater than the sum of its ill-assorted parts and Elfrida finds herself at the centre of a very magical Christmas.

High Risk
Hal is an ex-Everest guide who, after the death of one of his clients has promised himself he would never go back. But when Hal meets Josie a fragile alliance is formed, and he makes the fateful decision to guide her. Only by confronting those lethal slopes can he ever put the past behind him.

Beneath the Skin
One day you receive an anonymous note informing you that you're going to be killed. It might be a cruel joke or a hoax. But it isn't. What do you do? Three women - Zoe, Jenny and Nadia - of different ages, from different walks of life, rich, poor, married, single, happy, sad, face the same terrible threat. Three lives are turned upside down, secrets are exposed, relationships strained and shattered. And amid all the fear and threats, victims find themselves becoming the accused as the policesearch for what they have done, where they have been, to attract the unrelenting attention of someone who wants to kill them. And finally each of them must face one cruel question: which is stronger, the desire to live or the desire to kill?

Woohoo - at last - found a book!!

Found this one in Sainsbury's car park in Leamington. As soon as I saw it there, I thought I know what that is....

Dont think I am going to read it as I'll probably release it on Monday. It also came with a Graze box voucher - so will have to check that out. When I saw it I thought it was going to be another type of Book Crossing - but in the words of the film Highlander - "There can only be one" :-)
