If you have read any of Iris Johansen's other books, you have read this one. Strong-willed young woman threatened by mysterious and ruthless attackers is rescued by equally mysterious and ruthless man who may or may not have her best interests at heart. They spend most of the book acting like they can't stand each other, yet, despite themselves, they are drawn towards each other. Meanwhile, the mysterious and ruthless are killing off anyone who is mildly annoying.

Picked up at the 2011 Bookcrossing convention in Arlington, Virginia off the Book Buffet table and taking home to Texas to read and release.
