Another great Sue Grafton book in the "Alphabet Series". A quick read, the kind of book you can't put down. Kinsey just gets better and better as they go along. Owlet - I noticed you still have this on your wish list, it's heading out by Canada Post tomorrow. Enjoy.

8 out of 10

Yep, a very nice one again!

From the back: "Everyone knew the kind of girl Jean Timberlake was - ask anybody in the sleepy surf town of Floral Beach and they'd say Jean was wild, looking for trouble. But she certainly wasn't looking for murder. She was found dead on the beach seventeen years ago, and a rowdy ex-boyfriend named Bailey Fowler was convicted of her murder and imprisoned - and then Bailey escaped. Now private eye Kinsey Millhone steps into a case that should never have closed, in a town where there's no such thing as a "private" investigation."

I had no idea whodunnit it this time, it was a real surprise until the end! Also who was the secret lover of Jean who had to be protected by murdering her, I had an idea, but it was the wrong one.

Thanks again, bluenoser!

While walking around "de Jordaan" today, I remembered reading about the convention release walk. So I was paying exta attention for wild books today and found this one in a bicyclebasket/box . And I like Sue Grafton! ;-D
