Different twist on werewolves in a fantasy setting. I liked it...
Book Description
In this absorbing new YA title, Jatta, a princess in the kingdom of Alteeda, discovers a shocking truth about herself in connection to a tragedy from her past. She was three years old when her mother was slain by werewolves, and she, along with the rest of the palace, has been haunted by fear ever since. Now, at the age of fourteen, she has discovered that the werewolves left their curse on her, and it has begun to take hold

Mailed to Tsjara today - enjoy :)
Arrived over the weekend, together with Sea Change (the other YA VBB book). Seem to be having a werewolf/vampire books phase or something, lately.. (not intentionally, they all just seem to arrive around the same time). The cover does look very nice :) Thanks Minerva101!
I took this with me on a trip to Denmark, planning to release it there, but I didn't have much reading time (or maybe I am just a slow reader :P).. anyway I took it back with me because I didn't manage to finish it.
A nice read, though I think I liked the beginning more than the ending.. which was rather strange (a bit deus ex machina I guess). And many things remained unresolved.
It was good to see how Jatta became stronger throughout the story. Her relationship with her brother somehow came across a little odd to me.. they seemed to adore and so careful around each other, aren't siblings supposed to quarrel more? :P
And Drake didn't seem such a bad choice to me, compared to the other Princes..
Reserving this for the Women in Fiction VBB :) - not chosen so will release it somewhere else
