This beautifully bound little hard back was a gift to me from a friend in England. She found it in a fab charity shop (Trinity Hospice) in Putney.

Now when you've got to contend with: / Discovering your home is a national slug hot spot. / Coffee mornings with unemployed lady-mums (i.e Hell). / Collapsing ceilings and leaky lavatories. / Garden warfare with the neighbour. / Being given a 'Bonnie Tyler' by the local hairdresser. / Dangerous liaisons with the builder So it's going to be perfect. Definitely. I think. I mean of course it is. Or have I made a terrible mistake?
About the Author
Two summers ago, Martha Mole and family moved from London to start a new life in the country. It didn't go as smoothly as planned. She kept a diary. It should be noted, however, that there may have been times when her imagination got the better of her.
