1966 Newbery Medal winner

Inspired by the real Juan de Pareja and the artist Diego Rodríguez de Silva y Velázquez. Not sure whether this will go into a YA/Teen box or if I want to try to release it this summer near Juan's portrait at the Met in New York. More info about the painting can be found here.
