Purchased for 50¢ at the "Project Literacy Victoria" book sale in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.

FYI, the cover of the actual book is different from the one shown on my bookshelf - I tried to track down a graphic for the real cover to upload with this journal entry, but couldn't find one - sorry!

This book currently resides on my TBR shelf.

I loved this book, so much so that my next read is going to be The Kitchen God's Wife, also by Amy Tan... I just couldn't get enough of her writing!

I'm going to "cheat" on my review, and not actually do a review... rather, I thought I'd post a link to the review on n8an's shelf... he read (or rather listened to) the book recently, and his words say it all better than I ever could!

Almost done!

My son found it in Beacon Hill park on a beautiful sunny day with Irish music playing in the background
