Received this book from the Wishlist Tag Game, thanks so much! I am looking forward to reading and then passing it on. Thanks for tagging me!
This book was a little different to say the least. It basically says that Josephine was a slut, slept with tons of men and had a couple of troubled marriages. There was some details about the French people, and Napoleon but basically they lived their lives apart because he was on campaign during their marriage. I was surprised by the book and even though I finished it was not my favorite.

Book has arrived safely in Spokane.
At first I enjoyed this book a lot. I read it several months ago when my daughter was just a few months old and I needed something to do while making sure she was actually asleep before leaving the room. This book was perfect to pick up and put down and not feel completely lost. Then I started to notice how she was being portrayed and then the ending seemed odd. I didn't realize it when I'd started the book, but a lot was made up, not even based on historical texts. In the end, this book was only so-so. I didn't hate it but didn't love it. it was the right kind of book for the time when I reading it, but not sure I would have enjoyed it as much another time. Thanks again for sending this my way.
