This book is great if you want to teach yourself Chemistry, and completely rubbish if you don't! I did want to learn something about Chemistry and although it's a subject I was rather scared of, I found this book started from first principles and worked through in a simple and straight-forward format that I could easily follow but didn't leave me feeling patronised.

Designed for those aged 16+ this is a useful reference book on a surprisingly diverse range of subjects.
