Read this a few years ago and enjoyed it at the time.
Bought for $1 at the bookstore at 80th & Broadway (across the street from Zabar's).
I read this in high school and really liked it. (Although I hated his other books.) I thought this would be good to add to my collection but now I'm torn -- I normally hold on to my books! I guess I will wrestle with my conscience over this one...
