The third one in the package eochaine send me for the sea chest! Thanks a lot and the postcard is really really beautiful too!!!

I do sincerely hope that this book will _not_ have to travel across any considerable distance in a rowing boat but who knows... ;-)

Took it out of Bookbox "Seefahrt".

John Toohey's book is a crude mix of fact and fiction. I guess that's what they call "infotainment" today. As a former history student, I prefer facts and therefore highly recommend Caroline Alexander's Die Bounty.

Find a more detailed review in my blog (German only).

This book is part of my "Vom Mount Everest zum Brocken"-Challenge (3rd book for April - last name in the book's title).

Journal Entry 8 by wingkatopuawing from Flensburg, Schleswig-Holstein Germany on Tuesday, February 23, 2010
Berthed today after a short voyage on board of the "Segler- und Seefahrer-Box".
As I read as a youth everything I could get about the "HMS Bounty" it will be nice to read something (unkown) about this topic again.
