Journal Entry 1 by worldbooknight on Friday, February 25, 2011
Dear Reader Welcome to BookCrossing and thanks for being a part of World Book Night 2011, the largest book giveaway in history. 1,000,000 specially printed copies of 25 different books changed hands on March 5th 2011 and began their journey from reader to reader. This book is one of them. World Book Night has joined with BookCrossing to help track these books as they travel. You can be a part of that journey by making a comment in the book's journal here on BookCrossing. Your journal entry can say how you got the book, what you thought of it, your plans for it or whatever else you might like to add. On BookCrossing you may choose to remain anonymous or join (it's free). If you join, you’ll be alerted by e-mail each time someone makes another journal entry for this specific copy of this book (other copies of the book are travelling with their own ID number. Every copy of every book has a unique ID). It’s all confidential (you’re known only by your screen name and no one is ever given your e-mail address) and spam-free. Thanks in advance for being part of World Book Night and BookCrossing. And happy reading and sharing.

Thanks Ardachy for saving this book for me. I have heard so much about this one, and I'm curious to read it. Thanks for all the other WBN books you managed to pick up for me! I guess Colchester is one of the best places in the UK for bookcrossing! I'm really grateful for what you did!

Journal Entry 7 by chamonix44 at Almelo, Overijssel Netherlands on Saturday, June 18, 2011

I just finished reading this book. It has quite a powerful ending which brought tears to my eyes. What a terrible life Stuart had to endure. In the beginning he seemed a normal happy, helpful and caring little boy, but he suffered taunting from others and then worse. I dont want to spoil the story for others, so I won't say too much. However, he says himself that after he discovered violence then things changed a bit. I was shocked throughout this story about all the violence, the self mutilation and the way some street people live. When I came to the end of the book, I was shocked even more, but what makes it worse is the realisation that this is a true story, and for some people this way of life still continues out there! Thank you Ardachy for letting me take a small part in the first "World Book Night", and for letting me add my little bit of history to this book. Now I will see if I can lend it out to others.

Journal Entry 11 by chamonix44 at Almelo, Overijssel Netherlands on Tuesday, January 17, 2012

I received this book back from my friend Sandy. I have now put it into my WBN book box. I hope someone else will choose to read it. This title doesn't seem to be a popular choice. I think the drugs connection puts people off. Good Luck little book!

Journal Entry 14 by AnonymousFinder at Delden, Overijssel Netherlands on Friday, April 20, 2012
Read this sad book. It took me a long time because I'm not really into reading, but I did it and all my friends here seem to be so enthusiastic about reading another book that I think I might just take another one home with me today! As I said, sad book. Brought tears to my eyes.

Thanks Sherry for bringing this book back to me. I'm glad you read it. I'm also glad I could get you to make a JE here for other readers to see. Now can I persuade you to take another book home to read?!!

Journal Entry 16 by chamonix44 at Gronau, Nordrhein-Westfalen Germany on Thursday, May 03, 2012
Released 1 mo ago (4/21/2012 UTC) at Gronau, Nordrhein-Westfalen Germany CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Sorry I'm so late with these release notes, but I was a bit overwhelmed with having so many books come back to me, and go out at the same time in April. Anyway, on April 21st this book went home with Janet from Germany. I don't think Janet will make a JE unless I am with her to help her. So it probably won't be until after the book is read.
