^ The Judge

This is a really good courtroom/detective drama by Steve Martini. It is one of the Paul Madriani books, which I have read all of and enjoyed very much. This is kind of a series in that it has the same main character but it is not necessary to read them in order to keep up with the storyline.
Short synopsis:
When his old nemesis judge Armando Acosta is accused of soliciting a prostitute, attorney Paul Madriani is less than sympathetic. Nevertheless, Madriani is forced to defend him. When the policewomen who snared Acosta is brutally murdered, he wonders if the judge is also the executioner.....
