People want to change, to live better lives, to develop more meaningful relationships. But in today's on-the-go world, people want their life-changing information in a sound-bite style that they can digest now-or sooner. Lists to Live By is the answer. This unique book is filled with information that speaks to the deepest concerns of our lives. Lists is not another trivia encyclopedia-it's a treasury of to-the-point inspiration and wisdom for wives, husbands, kids, teens, friends, dating couples, parents, grandparents, and more. Sometimes tender, sometimes entertaining, sometimes inspiring, it's loaded with invaluable insights in chapters like Promises for Marriage, Staying Cool Under Pressure, Fun Dates on a Budget, and How to Die Happy. Lists is more than a book to live by-it's a book to thrive by.

Book just arrived! I love the comments and will be adding more of my own! Thanks Cat!

I enjoyed reading this book, it was great for short moments, when I didn't want to "get into" a longer book. Although it had a strongly Christian bend, it was on the whole, an enjoyable experience. Cat made a very great comment about her mom and her college roommate, very poignant, which made me mail one of my nieces a care package! I made some of my own comments and the only downside is I wish I could see what other people will have added by the time it goes through a number of hands!

I've enjoyed having this book to read in odd moments, but now it's time to send it on to symphonicca. I just emailed her to get her address. ...and the beat goes on.

Just got this interesting looking book in the mail! Will be a nice read for over the holidays!

Journal Entry 4 by symphonicca from Ottawa, Ontario Canada on Monday, December 29, 2003
A thought-provoking book--- some really interesting collections of things to ponder, and I enjoyed the comments that other bookcrossers added in! Am not a christian, so found some of the prayer stuff a little heavy, and was not a big fan of the "father as provider" theme---- ack! It is almost 2004! But, all in all, am glad i had a chance to read it, and have harvested the gems that resonated with me. Thanks KAT123, for starting the ring!

Received the book in the mail just before the weekend. I have flipped through it a few times, and am really enjoying the comments left by others. What a great idea! I'll read this a bit at a time, and pass it on soon.

This was great. Thanks KAT123! I loved reading other BXers comments as I went through the book. That was a marvelous idea. I do agree with others that some of the lists were a bit macho-centric ;-) but overall it was a really nice sharing of ideas and experience. It's off to WarEagle78 in tomorrow's mail.

It's in Alabama now! I've already been dipping into the book, like others enjoying the BX comments as well as the published lists. Will work through this with some level of care before I pass it on... or I may just try to order a copy to keep!

Thanks Kat123 for starting the ring and jamieh2003 for getting it to me! Will journal more when read.

I did take a long time with this book, and I apologize. But I couldn't let it go without reading every list! I thoroughly enjoyed the lists for living, and copied several of them into my journals for further thoughts and additional sharing. Thank you so much, KAT123, for sharing!

Mailed today to GLADE1.

I apologize for stalling this bookring! I finally mailed out this book to tamugrad02 today. I never did read all of it, but saw enough to know I'll probably buy my own copy to enjoy at my leisure.

Journal Entry 14 by tamugrad02 from Virginia Beach, Virginia USA on Tuesday, July 27, 2004
Got this in the mail yesterday. Will start it as soon as I'm done with the book I'm reading now. Will journal again when I'm through.

Journal Entry 15 by tamugrad02 from Virginia Beach, Virginia USA on Friday, July 30, 2004
This was a fast read, I was able to get throught it in one night. I love some of the lists, I had to copy them down so I could have them to refer back to. I also loved reading the comments other people have written in the margins. Makes me feel like I know some of my BC friends a little better. Will PM for the next address and get this book moving.

Update: I PMed the next person in line and didn't get a response. I'm going to try again and hopefully get this book in the mail.

This book has not checked in with previous readers in over one year and it is unknown as to where it has gone. Is this book lost in the mail?

The Lost Book Island Resort would like to offer this book a place to stay, some snacks and drinks, and a lounge chair by the pool until the wonderful day that a new journal entry comes to tell what twists and turns that this book has taken on its trip.
