I started reading this book, and it wasn't for me. But if you're into international political intrigue, this is probably your type of thing. It was a New York Times #1 Bestseller in it's day.

I found this book on a table outside a cafe in Dulwich, a suburb of Adelaide, South Australia. I plan to take it with me on my holidays next week, and drop it off somewhere between Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney.

CAUGHT IN BALLARAT VICTORIA AUSTRALIA

Journal Entry 5 by pont from Ballarat, Victoria Australia on Monday, October 6, 2003
I found this book in the 'T' building at University of Ballarat, It caught my eye as I was walking to the "S" building. I quickly read "Im not lost" on the the book, and pondered why would somone write that on a book, perhaps its a book at the teaching office that is there for a public read. Later on that day i Investigated, altho i don't read much I thought the idea was snazz and therefor picked it up. I plan to give it to my dad and allow him to release it in France or America. It wishes to see the world !

A little while ago I PMed Pont (the last person to catch this book) for an update on the book's journey. Pont was kind enough to get back to me and explain the situation, which I'd like to share with everyone here. The plan to give the book to his/her dad to take overseas fell through, so Pont "sat it in the bathroom at my residence, hopefully someone from my unit took it and passed it on."

So hopefully this will be one of those books that goes AWOL for a while, and then shows up out of the blue months or years later, and surprises us all. Let's cross our fingers and hope so anyway!
