Journal Entry 1 by worldbooknight on Friday, February 25, 2011
Dear Reader Welcome to BookCrossing and thanks for being a part of World Book Night 2011, the largest book giveaway in history. 1,000,000 specially printed copies of 25 different books changed hands on March 5th 2011 and began their journey from reader to reader. This book is one of them. World Book Night has joined with BookCrossing to help track these books as they travel. You can be a part of that journey by making a comment in the book's journal here on BookCrossing. Your journal entry can say how you got the book, what you thought of it, your plans for it or whatever else you might like to add. On BookCrossing you may choose to remain anonymous or join (it's free). If you join, you’ll be alerted by e-mail each time someone makes another journal entry for this specific copy of this book (other copies of the book are travelling with their own ID number. Every copy of every book has a unique ID). It’s all confidential (you’re known only by your screen name and no one is ever given your e-mail address) and spam-free. Thanks in advance for being part of World Book Night and BookCrossing. And happy reading and sharing.

Released 1 yr ago (3/23/2011 UTC) at mailed to the next participant in Bookray, A Bookray -- Controlled Releases WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Book finished. I found that I enjoyed parts of it but was left feeling rather unsatisfied. It felt as if he had just taken several short stories chopped them in half and added some rather clumsily references to try and join the stories together in some way. Book now forwarded to Raluk68

Journal Entry 7 by raluk68 at București, Wallachia Romania on Thursday, March 31, 2011
Got it last evening and a new journey begun! :) I had the first chapter of it, as a lovely way to relax my mind - the story with Moriori people was a nice surprise. I wonder if the next chapters are in any way linked to each other... Will find-out soon :P

I had the pleasure of reading this amazing book by the kindnes of starfalsh. Thank you very much! It is one of the best books I ever read! Out of the six stories my favorite remains the second one - Robert Forbisher's crazy life! :P Sure, I am a fool for letters and will ever be :D David Mitchell seems to me a master of stories! I, by contrast with others, liked the fact that he bonds the stories by unsignificat details like a book or a movie :P He's a smart guy! For sure I will read more of his works! All in all it deservs a full 10 star rating! :)

I wasn't entirely sure how I was going to like this book, it's fairly different than most of what I read. However the stories were quite engrossing and strangely compelling, I really enjoyed trying to figure out how the stories were connected and I loved the way that each character only got the first half of the story in the first bit and then got the second half in the end just like the reader. I think my favourite was the futuristic Orison of Sonmi for some strange reason. I will send this on to Katrinat this week.

Thanks for sending. I have tried to read this before and got to the halfway point, as soon as I gave my copy away I wished I had kept it so I could try againso this is a second chance for me. I have about 50 pages of my current read left and then I'll get started.

I'm afraid that I just can't dig up any interest in reading this, I got to the second chapter over a week ago and just can't bring myself to pick it up. So rather than hold it up any longer I'm going to give up and pass it on. I have the next address so this will go in the post in the next few days.
