Lovely little story about following your dreams and fulfilling your destiny. If this one isn't already considered a classic, I think it will be in years to come.

Sending this one to debnance.

Veronika Decides to Die, by the same author as The Alchemist, was recommended to me. I didn't like it much. I've also heard a lot about this book (mostly good things), and JennyO was kind enough to share it with me. I'll say more after I've read it.

Had I read this at an earlier time in my life, I would have liked it a lot more. It reminded me a lot of The Little Prince, with its traveling main character and desert setting and Big Symbolic Images and Philosophical Themes. I don't know why, but I never connected with the characters or the story.

Journal Entry 6 by Lottiotta from Aberdovey, Wales United Kingdom on Monday, August 14, 2006
Received this morning in a slightly bendy state! Not to worry, the condition is still pretty good. :) I shall take good care of it. I have two books to read before I get to this one unfortunately, but I'll get to it as quickly as I can.

Thank you for sending this all that way, and for sharing the book! :) xxx

21st August 2006
Just finished reading this one this evening, and I'm happy to send it on to the next person ASAP. :)

This is a strange one, I felt like it was reminding me of things I already knew long ago. The story itself, although simple, was never ever boring, and the ending is great! It made me laugh along, anyway.

I went to the park to stare at a blade of grass half way through reading it, and it was lovely! Must do that more often. Apparently meditation causes crime rates to drop in surrounding areas, how cool is that? (Watch "What the Bleep Do We Know?" - such a good movie!)

I'll update once I've posted it. Thanks so much for sharing!

25th August 2006
Sending off to andthings today, because Miss-R and KeaneKeaney want to be skipped. :) Second class, I'm afraid.

Journal Entry 7 by andthings on Sunday, September 24, 2006
Arrived safely, I have a couple of rings before this one but should get to it soon as it is suck a short book.

I forgot I still had this as it has been in my mammoth TBR pile. I have PM'd the next person to get their address. Sorry for stalling it so long thank you debnance for arranging the ring, hopefully it will be back on track again soon.

Oh also lottiotta you might want to watch the film "the secret" that is similar to what the beep do we know, very inspirational.

Are you sure you want to delete this item? It cannot be undone.
