Found in a charity shop in Redhill, Surrey.

Not sure about this one at all. I enjoyed the incisive insights and turns of phrase, but it did drag so! I disliked all of the characters and couldn't empathise with any of them. It felt, strangely, a very feminine book and very much in the same genre as The Lovely Bones (which I detested). I hope it finds a more appreciative reader.

Thank you so much Flambard for sending to me and I'm so sorry it's taken me over a year to catch it! I have now read it (hence realising that I'd never caught the book) and have to say that I completely agree with your comments. It dragged on and on and on, I couldn't identify with any of the characters and often felt the book was trying to be clever for the sake of English Literature students rather than the good of the story. Thanks so much for sending to me and I will try and find someone who will enjoy it more than we have!!

Received this book from my sister, after a tiring Rally Day =) It may stay on my TBR pile for a while, looking at your reviews of the book but will hopefully get round to it eventually!

Had too many books on my TBR pile and am moving house so had a clear out. Safe travels little book!
