Toll Creagach (1054m/3458ft), Glen Affric, Inverness-shire

I left this book on the top of one of the mountains close to home. We had a very late start to today's hillwalking trip and didn't arrive in Glen Affric until about noon. We started the route from the parking area halfway along Loch Beinn a' Mheadhoin and walked up the side of the Alt na h-Imrich. After one mile, we followed the path striking off directly north to the saddle of this hill. Then followed an easy walk from spot height 892, down one hundred meters or so and up to the summit of Toll Creagach at 1054m. The low cloud swirled in just as we reached the summit hiding the best views, but with a little patience, we caught glimspes of the range upon range of mountains to the north beyond Mullardoch and Monar. The cloud lifted as we began our descent to the long saddle to the west of the summit. We dropped down to the narrow glen of the Alt Toll Easa and followed that down to the meet the larger burn and ultimately to the road beside the loch (and the midges!)

When I took this book out of my rucksack I noticed it had lost its "Free Book, I'm not lost..." front cover label. I only hope that whoever finds it, realises the owner is NOT going to come back looking for it! :-)
