1964 Signet paperback, with a 50 cents cover price, of the 1896 early classic by the author. I found this copy yesterday in the free books pile on the porch of Dimond Library.
I can let this go after I read:
1896 The Lagoon (short story) [read 2010]
Edit December 12, 2011: I don't have the patience for Conrad. This one was relatively short, but written in his typically convoluted style, so I gave up and skimmed after the first chapters. But it seems it would have moved along fast enough, if I had cared to take the time. Too much else out there which I prefer to read instead, so I call this one done.
