From the back cover:
Rodeo cowboy Dakota Scott has a problem. His truck has broken down and he's stranded in small town New Mexico. To complicate matters he's picked up another stray, this time a woman who needs his help.
Robyn Sparrow is a washed up celebrity, famous in the 90's for being the youngest of three sisters who had their own TV show. Now she's reached rock bottom. When she meets Dakota, she's desperate enough to promise him anything simply to get a ride back to the West Coast.
While Dakota struggles to understand Robyn, he comes to care for her and unwittingly leads her back toward the spotlight that almost killed her. But can she resist the lure of Hollywood and can Dakota really believe she'd give it all up for love?

I liked this story in spite of the main characters...all I can say is suspend your version of reality to enjoy this one as I have a hard time seeing people act like these two do...but I did enjoy it
"A book is a mysterious object, I said, and once it floats out into the world, anything can happen. All kinds of mischief can be caused, and there's not a damned thing you can do about it. For better or worse, it's completely out of your control."
Paul Auster

Arrived in Colorado in the Erotica bookbox. I have never been drawn to the cowboy stories -- maybe it is that I see them here in Colorado on occasion (the stock show is getting geared up again...it will make Denver back into the Cowtown it came from once again this year :-)
Removing from the erotic bookbox - I haven't tried a cowboy story before, so I'm going to try this one out.
Pretty good erotic romance - I have never read any 'cowboy' stories, they just didn't appeal to me. But this one was pretty good. The story was interesting and the sex was steamy. Dakota is not a typical cowboy - well, except for the name which seemed almost over the top, I guess the only name more stereotypical is Tex. Still, it's a quick diverting read.
Restarting Feisty's Erotic/Steamy bookbox
This book arrived in the Erotic/Steamy Bookbox hosted by FeistyPomLove.
This looks interesting! If Flossie771 and princess-peapod both read it then it's got to be good. *wink*

My Review: This was a fun read! Good erotica, the story was a bit unrealistic, but the main characters made it work.
