Agatha Raisin is always enjoyable -- couldn't resist this installment in the series when I saw it a local library book sale.

Agatha Raisin is getting on my last nerve -- and I am not alone in this. For me, the irritation is due to the fact that she seems to feel it necessary to have a man constantly in attendance and that every move she makes is, to some extent a reaction to James Lacy (what she saw in that self-absorbed cold fish is beyond me). For the people of Ancombe, the irritation is due to Agatha's habit of poking her nose in other people's business when a murder has been done. They are really not nice people to begin with and they are very nasty to Agatha. The murderer is not a nice person either. But it was well written. And the series is worth keeping up with for the vicar's wife, Mrs. Bloxby, and for the hope that Bill Wong will someday figure out how to keep his parents from sabotaging his relationships
