Sending to my NSSVS partner as it is on her wishlist.
I hope you enjoy it :-)

It arrived eventually:-) Thank you so much Wilksie. I read this when a teenager and declared it my favourite Jane Austen, but haven't read it since so wonder whether my opinion will remain the same after a gap of ten years?
Edit 18th April 2011:
I liked this a lot. I think I understood far more of the humour reading it for the second time, though I have to say the story didn't enchant me quite as much. Maybe that's because I'm more familiar with the plot, or because I'm less romantic now than I was at 16/17. Or maybe it's even that I've read so much adult fiction since then, that I'm a harder critic to please?
In any case, I still thought the characters were all wonderful. My favourite is Mary. She's such an exaggerated pessimist and malingerer, but yet so believable.
