Released on Tuesday, August 19, 2003 at the wheelbarrow in Sonoma, California USA.

the wheelbarrow was taken to St. Francis Solano Church in Sonoma for my grandmother's funeral and afterwards to the reception at our house. Books were taken freely and appropriately since the wheelbarrow commemorates Grandma.

Journal Entry 3 by thewheelbarrow at Mercato Building walkway in Sonoma, California USA on Monday, September 29, 2003
Released on Monday, September 29, 2003 at a random bench in the Mercato Building walkway in Sonoma, California USA.

My husband and I took a walk this morning with 2 backpacks full of books. We stopped along our walk and released books. We headed for the Coffee Gaden on the Plaza that has a great patio in the back with a fountain and a whole bunch of bathing sparrows. We drank mochas and had omelettes for breakfast. It was fun! I'm between jobs at the mo, so this was a nice respite from real life.

I don't know HOW we keep getting this book back, it's like a boomerang. We tried to release it the first time. Didn't even get release notes out before someone returned it to us. Finally someone took it, and we have it back again! I think my neighbor Nancy took it from the wheelbarrow at grandma's funeral, and then just gave it back, not quite understanding the concept of releasing herself. Which is OK. She doesn't have a computer either. So, I guess she thought she'd better give it back to the source! Off it goes again...

We set this book on the sign at the front of the walkway to the Mercato Building, which is full of all sorts of stores.
