Beatrice and Virgil
2 journalers for this copy...
Not sure how I acquired this book, but as I had read and enjoyed The Life of Pi by this author, I probably bought it, then forgot to read it, though actually on starting it, I remember reading the beginning some time ago, and this time I mean to persevere, though it is a strange story.....
The only bit of this book I liked was the description of a pear, which was over 3 pages! otherwise, I hated the book, and would not like to read any more of his books if they are like this one.... :-(
World book day. Game rules - Find the book nearest to you, turn to page 56, find sentence 5 and write it as your status. Put the game rules as a comment. Used thyis book in the facebook game. 'Henry noticed a dry cleaner, an upholsterer, a small grocery store.' Boring! To be released tonight at the belfast BC meetup....

Finally I had the chance to meet Beatrice and Virgil and know their sad story. This book has unusual story but nevertheless, l learned the art of preserving dead animals as known as taxidermy, including the art of treating and mounting skulls, bones and skeletons known as Osteology. At the last few pages of the book is the rules of Games of Gustav that Beatrice and Virgil loved to play. Game number 12 is interesting.
Doing the game rule set by the reader who released this book, this is the phrase..."1941 Marshal Petain institutes Mother's Day in France." The book that Im currently reading right now is the collection of short stories by the same author, Yann Martel.
To be released today somewhere in Global City Pasig Metro Manila, Philippines after I got it in March 2011. A barista of Starbucks Stopover in Global City got the book and she will give it to her friend!
For the quick review: Beatrice and Virgil
