8 out of 10

This is one of three books I have in this series edited by Ellen Datlow & Terri Windling. They are collections of fairy tales retold for adults. Some are by authors you know, some others you don't know but will love.

I'm offering this as an inter-linking bookring with:
Black Heart, Ivory Bones
Snow White, Blood Red

Here is what I’m going to do: because they are interrelated, but not sequential, I’m going to assume that if you want to be on one ring, you want to be on all. So once I have a list, I will send the three books out to different places on the ring. That is, if there are 10 people, I will send them out to 1, 4, and 7 on the list, so it won’t be so long until anyone one the list gets one. So, if you PM me, I’ll assume you want all three, unless you tell me otherwise.

The list, in route order, BOLD show progress:
LENSMAN (Birmingham, AL)
ramson (Louisiana)
kymberlie (Houston, TX)

CurtAngel (Oklahoma City, OK)
maddymonkey (Chicago, IL)
Deerskin (Aberdare, Wales United Kingdom)
Jayda (Australia)
16stepper (AZ)
Tamster33 (San Francisco, CA)
elizz273 (New York)
Red644 (Fairfax, VA)
Back to me!

7 out of 10

I thought this book was very interesting. It has a good mix of stories by varied authors. Some well known some with this being their first work. The other thing I like about this book is that different authors will take the same story and put a different spin on it. My favorite story in the book was "The Printer's Daughter" by Delia Sherman. I will mail this book out to Ramson as soon as they get back from vacation.
