My name is Lindsay and for the past year and a half I've been living in St. Thomas. I went home (to PA) last week to visit family and friends. Living on an island which thrives off tourists, things are quite pricey.. And there's no mall. So I went home with an empty suitcase and a long list of things to buy. (then again, how useful would my flip flops be in the middle of their winter?) So I dedicated a full day to shopping in all of the stores I've missed.. And if you're from the area, you know The King of Prussia mall is the place to do it! After a few hours of shopping I decided to take a quick lunch break. (side note: I've heard a lot about this book and love to read so it was already on "my list.") As I approached Rock Bottom (a restaurant) this book was sitting on the bench outside. I recognized the cover and my eyes were drawn to it. I said to my friend, "look that's a book I've been wanting to read.." and I went to pick it up and saw that it was free! Talk about meant to be! So now it's here with me in St. Thomas and when I finish reading it I plan on leaving it at a tourist spot near the cruise ship dock. It could end up in Europe, Canada, another island or back in the states somewhere.. We'll find out soon! Thanks to the person before me- you left it in a perfect spot :)

Like the last reader, I have been wanting to read this book for a LONG time! I found it by the aforementioned cruise ship dock at a bar called Mojo's. I am originally from Maryland, but have been a teacher on the island for 12 years (and counting), so I find it interesting that the last reader mentions the empty suitcase which comes back full from the states...I do the same thing!!! I have to admit that I partook in a few libations the day/night I found this book; however, I had found some long lost friends and we had many long and wonderful conversations at the bar that day. As I was leaving, something made me turn back towards the bar and there it was! It was an inspirational book and the messages will stay with me for a long time. BTW - I've now seen the movie 3 times! I plan to leave this book (I hope this isn't cheating) in a place where my friend will find it as she is about to leave our island after many years and move to New Orleans to begin a new life.
