Book club selection. Overall, I thought it was pretty good. There were some parts that were just written so brilliantly... the first two chapters were perfect, as were most of the scenes in the nursing home. But, I thought the romance was hackneyed and not nearly so strong a storyline as the circus around it. I also had a lot of trouble keeping track of the minor characters, but maybe that was just me.

This book is definitely entertaining overall, and I'm looking forward to seeing the movie too!
