This will be my first read from the Finnish literature. Very exciting!

I finished reading the book while on vacation in Paros island, a couple of days ago. A difficult read for me, as I am always deeply affected by such matters. A very educational also, as I never knew anything about the Estonian countryside or the Estonian history before. I wish I had some things more clear about some parts of the story, like how did Zara's family end up in Vladivostok, but I can live with not knowing :)

I left the book at the restaurant that we used to eat on our previous trips in Paros, Happy Cows. It's somehow connected to the book, as there's a cow in the farm where the heroes live. Around 12 o' clock afternoon.
