Annie and Duncan have been together for 15yrs. She works at a museum. He is an obsessive Tucker Crowe fan. Runs a Crowe wesite, goes on pilgrimages and calls himself a Crowologist. Singer/songwriter Crowe himself has been missing since the 80s.
- till a new album, a raw version of his beloved, claim to fame, masterpiece Juliet, appears in their mailbox. Annie is the first one to listen.

Up to this point, I find the book marvellous. But after Annies contribution on Duncasn website and Tucker Crowes emails - it goes slowly downhill.
Still it never gets bad and is utterly enjoyable even when it's sliding.
