Picked up from a Friends of the Library booksale for BookCrossing. I have not read this book. I chose it simply because of it's cover -- which has what can be interpreted as an old man with a beard on it, thus qualifying for a Release Challenge I joined. The cover blurb sounds remarkably familiar, but it may be because it's an Art History Mystery of Iain Pears. The ones I've read in the series are quite good.

This is the first Iain Pears book I've read, and I enjoyed the mystery. The characters were fairly interesting and the mystery had some good twists. I was getting a little annoyed with the overuse of the word "reckon"....don't know why.
Pulled this off the shelf at Muddy when restocking to give it a wild release.
