This is a great mystery book, as are most of Mary Higgins Clark's books. For now, this is going to stay here, but I might offer it up as a bookring later. I want to read it one more time before it gets released into the wild. If you're interested watch the posts. From the Publisher: Ellie Cavanaugh was seven years old when her older sister was murdered near their home in New York's Westchester County. It was young Ellie's tearful testimony that put Rob Westerfield, the nineteen-year-old scion of a prominent family, in jail despite the existence of two other viable suspects. Twenty-two years later, Westerfield, who maintains his innocence, is paroled. Determined to thwart his attempts to pin the crime on another, Ellie, an investiga-tive reporter for an Atlanta newspaper, returns home and starts writing a book that will conclusively prove Westerfield's guilt. As she delves deeper into her research, however, she uncovers horrifying facts that shed new light on her sister's murder. With each discovery she comes closer to a confrontation with a desperate killer.

I'm starting a bookring with this book. There are only 3 people in it right now, so I'm not going to send it out until I get a few more (or I give up, whichever comes first). If you would like to join, PM me. I don't mind international as long as the person before you doesn't mind shipping. Here's the list right now.... 1. WarEagle78 AL 2. jendudley TX 3. Kymberlie TX

Whatever you do, do not go to Amazon.com and read about this book....ending is given away. :( I read this cover to cover and it is a great book. I have yet to be let down by MHC.

A nice thriller, an engaging read on a day when I was housebound with a nasty cold. I don't think I've read any Mary Higgins Clark before, but I will read more in the future. Thanks, tamugrad02, for sharing!

Interesting story, I think the first MHC I have read that is first person; it concerns the sister of a murder victim come to prove the guilt of her sister's murderer, 22 years later, as he is paroled and seeks a new trial. The buildup means to lead you in one direction as you expect certain things to happen, but it offers a satisfactory end.

Recieved today from livelywriter. Thanks so much for giving me a chance to read this. I've only read one other Mary Higgins Clark book, and that was in high school. Thanks again! Will pass on when finished with :)
