I've been reading these stories here and there and just finished the last one this morning.

These short stories started out being connected by the illustrated man, but that connection was soon lost until the very end. I would have liked to see it carried throughout. Most of the stories were pretty good though very few had "happy" endings. My favorites were "The Veldt" (which I had read before), "Marionettes, Inc.," and "The Rocket."

I finished it this morning and really liked this collection of short stories. I had never read anything from R. Bradbury before, but became a fan, thanks Karendawn for introducing him to me! It will go next week to PCSAF as a RABCK too.
