An absolutely gripping read that I just absolutely had to finish this morning after being too tired to stay awake last night (even though I was meant to be getting ready for work!)

The story starts at the end with Beatrice recounting what has happened to her younger sister Tess & unravels throughout the book. It was this and the personal writing style that kept me absorbed until the very end when Beatrice's detective work comes to a conclusion. I also loved the description and emotion that described the personal bond between the two sisters even though they were quite different people.

A great crime mystery with a well written personal touch, highly recommended.

Wrapping up for a game of steal or reveal at tomorrows Red Lion meet. Hope the next reader enjoys it as much as I did :0)

Sorry its taken me so long to get to this one, but when I did, like MarthaK-H, I did not want to put it down - compulsive reading, beautiful writing & great suspense.

I originally picked this up because it had the plot I'd thought I might write one day - but now I don't have to - a really good read.
