Brooke is the third book of the Orphans series by V.C. Andrews. You don't have to read the earlier books to read this one (I didn't). I first read it years ago and decided to re-read it before releasing. This copy has been on my bookshelf for years, so it's about time to let it go.

Brooke is a humble, athletic teenage girl...who's also an orphan. When a wealthy couple adopts her, Brooke's world is turned upside down. While it's great to have a family, her new mother's expectations and standards of beauty are overwhelming. This book isn't a mystery or romance. I would describe it as a drama (maybe?). All in all, it was an okay read, not spectacular.

Bookcrossers LOVE books, and more than anything, they love to read books and then set them free for other people to find and enjoy. I would love it if you would leave a journal entry -- you can say where you found the book or how you liked it when you read it. Then, when you are ready, pass it along for someone else to enjoy! Thanks and happy reading!
